Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and customizing Magento themes, templates, and layouts to match the website’s design and functionality requirements.
  • Modifying existing Magento themes or creating new ones to align with the brand’s aesthetic and user experience guidelines.
  • Ensuring the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and provides a smooth browsing experience.
  • Integrating third-party extensions, payment gateways, and other APIs with the Magento platform.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, bugs, and errors on the Magento platform.
  • Working closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure alignment with project goals.

Technical Skills

  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Proficiency in these core web development languages is essential for frontend development.
  • Magento 2 Frontend Development: Experience with Magento’s frontend components (blocks, templates, widgets) and customization capabilities.
  • Responsive Design: Ability to create websites that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
  • JavaScript Frameworks: Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery is often beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize website performance.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
